Mr. Caruso is the founder of Caruso Ventures, the most catalytic tech investor in Colorado, partnering with entrepreneurs in quantum, space, and creative sectors. He hosts the Bear Roars podcast and authored the book Bandwidth. Mr. Caruso is a three-time tech entrepreneur of industry-defining digital infrastructure companies which went public, including founder of Zayo Group and co-founder of Level 3 Communications. He was an investor and interim CEO of quantum company Infleqtion, which went public in 2026. He supports UChicago's Polsky Center, Endeavor Colorado, and Elevate Quantum. He is co-founder of Boulder Roots Music Fest and supported Sundance Film Festival's move to Boulder. His honors include the Chicago Booth Distinguished Alumni Award, the Colorado Governor's Citizenship Medal, and the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts' John Madden, Jr. Leadership Award.
